Thanks for the complement. However I don't think bravery had a thing to do with my going to the Mormon church! I'm a rabble rouser, sometimes I do things to make people start thinking!

I've noticed most Mormon doctrine is not founded upon biblical principles. It was clear to me, many people are not thinking in the Mormon church. Just being lazy and going with the flow.

I'm curious, love learning, love people and love learning about people. Getting the chance to see mass brainwashing while disturbing for myself to see, was to good a chance to pass up!

Over time God has been showing me divisiveness is not of Him. And I guess I've also discovered that if the RLDS church is going to be fixed, the LDS church also is going to have to be fixed. Both churches while extremely divergent from the other, are inextricably linked in other ways. The Mormon Church fears RLDSer's because we're a volitile unknown commodity to them and RLDS'ers hate their Mormon counter parts guts because many Salt Lake Mormons told a pack of lies and dirtied RLDS Reputations. All to justify their own sin.

We in the RLDS church still get labeled as dirty Salt Lake Polygamist just like the Mormons, only we don't get to have more than one wife, or believe men can became God's.

And we would shudder to think such!

This has made it Damned tough for us to preach the true gospel because Salt Lake has worked to destroy the work God did through Joseph Smith. But that also is our own fault also.

What many people don't know, is that Joseph Smith delivered an inspired message from God, not long before his death. This message brought the whole LDS church under condemnation from God! And the church would continue under this condemnation until it repented. RLDS Doctrine and Covenants.

Again the origanal LDS church ( Joseph Smith led, pre death erra ) came under condemnation because they didn't practise the knowledge and information God had restored to us through the Book of Mormon.

That knowledge was that we must feed the hungry, work to heal the sick, visit the sick and afflicted and the widow. That all men must work to help all men be equal with each other, each working after his or her own strengths, gifts and callings.

Christ in the Book of Mormon and the Bible said 3 things most LDS/RLDS and Prostestant believers miss out on.

Our Bible tells us Christ's true Church in the latter days shall be called after His name. OK LDS/RLDS/ Temple Lot Church of Christ they at least have the name.

Christ Himself said so in the Book of Mormon the same.

But Christ also said in the Book of Mormon that any church called after His name, who did not feed the hungry, heal the sick, help the poor while visiting the sick, the afflicted would not be considered His church by Him.

RLDS/ LDS/ Temple Lot Church of Christ Churches, to this day don't get this! That to be Christ's Church our actions MUST speak louder than our words. How we treat people is Key!!!

Christ said, " in as much as you've done it unto the least of these my bretherin, you've done it unto Me"!

This is Biblical also. Isaiah writes rather profoundly about it. Saying that God asked not for the slaying of oxen and animals or the sacrifice of sackcloth and ashes, but He asked us to feed the Hungy, heal the sick ect.

And that if man would do this, the powers of heaven would come down among them!

But most people don't ever know, because most churches don't want the powers of heaven down amoung us.

How does this address divisivness? Well I went to the Mormon church because I refused to let their past sins keep me away. But I also am wise enough to know, that the foundation their church is built upon is lies and murder.

A person does have to be careful how much and with whom one associates. But be afraid of Mormons? Nah! They're just people. Ironically they're far more easy to influence than Protestant believers.

That said, Did Jesus Christ allow lies and murder stop Him from doing His job which was to bring enlightenment and understanding to the Jewish people? Certainly not! And after the Jews killed Him, did he Stop?

No! We went instead to the second nation which He spoke about in Mathew chapter 21 speaking to the Pharasee's saying " the Kingdom shall be given to another nation bearing the fruits thereof"!

Had Jesus Christ not come to the Jews, the Book of Mormon could not have been possible as the second testimony decending from Joseph of Egypt as prophecied by Ezekiel chapter 37 of there being two books and two testimonies of Jesus Christ. That no more shall there be two books or two nations, but they shall become one book and one nation.

The Book of Mormon is truly the book spoken of by Isaiah 29, 10-24, Ezekiel 37, Psalms 85 ( truth shall spring from the earth ) and I could go on.

But I have vowed to stop sending you long posts for a time.

And just as my posts can be long winded causing people to loose focus, my not going to the LDS church, making my presense felt would have allowed Mormons to not gain a focus and perspective they might not other wise have recieved.

They think it's them against the world. Not many Mormons know there are 264 other legal churches who teach the Book of Mormon.

When a group of people think it's us against them, Russia against the USA ( cold war ) we turn inward. Or Mormons against the world there is a state of war. It's unhealthy, people become either nasty and bad tempered like myself should I allow, or Secretive, conspiracy, and don't show their whole deck of cards.
Either way evil can creep in and steal aways all our good intent.

We need to instead remember Mother Teresa. She impacted the world, not because she turned inward and played safe. But because she went into the lions den of the world, or in this case the Mormon church, and gave us all something to think about!

Yes I agree with you about the Mormon church.

One Sunday, my wife was in Texas visiting her folks, I was batching it and had lots of free time.

I decided to go to church, the local RLDS now Community of Christ. My church was closed that Sunday!( I despise the Name C and C ) I had driven 50 miles to church and my church was not even meeting! Great! Alas what were my options?

My constantly curious, rable rousing mind decided hit, Said, " let go to the LDS Branch!

My A.D.D rambuctious curiousity satified with my solution, I put petal to metal and off I went!

I arrived late, was ushered into sunday scool, I noted I had missed the main service. Main service must have been held at 9:00 AM! ( Hmmmmmmmm the LDS'ers are early risers )

After Sunday school, of course the Priesthood meeting!

As I was waiting for the Preisthood to get their poop in a groop to meet, I stood in the hallway, I note I'm wearing aproxamently 300 dollors of nice causual clothing for church, but am still underdressed! I also note that every Mormon suite of cloths I see, seems to be a Dark charchol, gray brown! Again my mind in A.D.D flippant curious humor notes a rigid dress code!

Reminded me of Soviet Russia!
Or the Secret Service you pick...

But what whowed me out was as I stood in the hallway, Young Mormon Elders noticed me! Word had gotten around an RLDS'er was in the House!

They began to line up in front of me, asking to see my scriptures?
I was an immediate celebretie!

I was also immediately disturbed!
I kid you not! And I would not be stretching the truth very much to say Priesthood meeting started, I chose my seat, and the line of young Mormon elders waiting to see my scriptures followed!

Ten minutes into the meeting I was the one who had to tell them to buzz off because we were being disrespectful to the man teaching the class.

Later I had a Mormon Elder ask me why the Two churches Split! I was Whowed out! He didn't know why the RLDS won't have anything thing to do with the Mormon Church.

Which of course was Polygamy, followed by the other crap they teach which is not Biblical, or in the Book of Mormon.

Backing up, when I was in the Sunday school class, they lady teaching didn't dirrectly quote one book of scripture. Biblical or Book of Mormon.

Rather she quoted prominent men in the Mormon church, and their comments about what the scripture said.

It was a real eye opener for me.

I'm a life long member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint's. All of us are free thinkers, Rabble rousers to a fault! We are sticklers for the law, and freedom is the most importantly law! Freedom to love and obey God, or freedom to rebel against Him.

While I highly advise all men to obey and learn to love their Maker, I'll gladly die for your right to choose to rebel against Him.

Mistakes are the only way people learn! I had to rebel against God for a while, I suffered the penalties, learned my lessons.

I now work to obey God because of those lessons I had the freedom to learn. People must sin first for Jesus Christ to be able to save them!

Jesus Christ cannot save us, unless first we're sinners!

That's just my opinion! But I'm pretty sure I can back that with scripture!

That's cool, I get you. You're one of the first that isn't condemning me to hell with every breath.

Fear, it's how the Mormon church functions. And it's so detailed that it's nearly impossible to describe. But in a nutshell, they pay their tithing because they're afraid of burning in a big fire. They endure all their commandments because they fear making any kingdom less than the highest one. They are afraid of what other people think. If they don't obey all the commandments, they are afraid that they won't be with their family in the next life. And then they disguise that fear and state that it's out of love for their saviour that they are suffering and enduring.

It's ugly and it's all so perfect that very few people ever even recognize it.

I'm impressed with your honesty, very much like your candid self assesment, but am a little appalled to think I've alluded to you you're going to hell!!!

I would never say such a thing, or even think it! Earth is a place of learning! And while bad thing do happen to us hear, it's all apart of the learning process.

As matter of fact to many theologins teach hell where all the bad people go and die an eternal death! That's not even scriptural.

Jesus didn't want people being kept in line! He wanted people to explode with action to fix their own situation as much as they could! ( He knew until we were desperate enough to begin fixing our own situation, we would not even be interested in aproaching God)

It's a very reasuring scripture letting us know how much God will endure for us. God will lower Himself into our ( Garbage Dump )to pull us from fear, anger, doubt, depression, angst, to try to save us as a people.

As for my meeting God?

I have met God. On long walks, at certain low points of my life, at certain high points of my life. I've met this God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the form of the Holy Spirit!

If I let Him, He guides me in all I do! My stuggle is to let Him guide me. To much I want to be in control. Meaning I don't make the effort to find His ( do list/ action List) for the day which He wants me to pursue.

Just as you can feel fear, anger, frusteration, these are spiritual marks of evil spiritual influence trying to prevail in your life.

Peace, quiet, relaxation, empowerment, affirmation all are marks of the Holy Spirit!

God's peaceful spirit will not reside ( make itself known ) when we are playing host to the devil.

I'm glad to get your comments and see things from a completely different perspective. I completely respect your beliefs, even though I do not share them with you.

You say you've met god and you've got no reason to lie about it. I'll admit, I'm a doubting Thomas... until I actually see it, I can't just take it on faith and feelings.

So until I get a really good reason to change my opinion, I'm going to keep blogging. If you're right and the devil is real, then I guess I'm hell bound. But as I see it, hell is a concept designed to keep fear in people in order to keep them inline.

Dear Mormon 411,

You're right every church and many of the people in those churches think they possess God's only true gift of truth to man kind. Even people in the RLDS church think they're it on a stick.

So much so they spend to much time in a church pew, and not enough time spreading the gospel, taking care of people in need, and helping each other.

They play church, put the best foot forward, look great in presentation, but in final annallisis, they're fakers.

The do not do as their God has commanded them.

This frusterated me many years. I griped, I complained, I moaned and groaned! I also criticized. It came as a real blow to my ego when Jesus Christ got my attention one day, and let it be known, I was just as bad as they were.

How? While they played church pretending to do well, I played church criticizing their fakeness and bigottry.

Over time I realized my criticism of them, not only held them back, It help me back too. I was to busy seeing the beam in my Brothers eye, I miss the fact I was drowning in the moat in my own eye.

I also realized I had a forgiveness problem. I realized I was a gossip and a back stabber.
That I used my words to destroy peoples names and reputations, often for the fun and excitement of doing so.

I often did it in the name of justice, or concern.

Jesus showed me what I was doing, was wrong.
He has encouraged me to be more constructive about my dealing with people.

So I have repented. But old habits die hard.

My reason for the long comment was not to be a Internet Nazi. Telling people how to think, or where to get off. It's to remind people God is real.

I can say God is real because I've met Him. I have a personal Relationship with Jesus Christ. He is to real.

But as the Bible and Book of Mormon instruct us, "God does not dwell in unholy temples".

God does not upbraid people for their imperfections and falts. He forgives the falts, and works with the people inspite of their faults.

The problem is the people more often than not refuse to work with God. Do the dwindle in unbelief. To the point they forget, of do not know there is even a God.
( I'm speaking from my own experiance, this is what happened to me ).

As for the LDS church?

The institution is my mortal enemy.
It was instituted by satan himself for the deception of mankind. You will find, if you do your research, talk to other RLDS members and priesthood we all share the view.

Are problem with the Salt Lake Church is they're anti biblical in teaching. Nor do they teach after their own Book of Mormon's teachings. But instead teach only the precepts and writting of men who run the church.

In truth we were all the one church long ago. But the institution of polygamy, false claims against Joseph Smith teaching polygamy, Blood atonement, and Adam God theory separate us and always will.

We are the true church. That's legally establish fact. ( Not my opinion ) I can prove this, with court and Congressional documents,
News paper articles from Joseph Smith's time, both before and After his death.

I also can prove by the very statements of Brigham Young, Leader of the Salt Lake Based LDS Church.

I don't blame you for being mad. You've been lied too.

I honestly don't give a rats behind what you think. I'm not trying to convert you but I am asking you to be accurate.

Yes, I agree with you about the name and I stopped using it some time ago. As you can see, I now post as Mormon411.

That was a very long comment and I'm not going to even attempt to respond to all of it. If you want to believe that your branch of Mormonism is the true one, then more power to you. Everyone thinks they have proof of their truth and in the end, no one really does because Jesus isn't even real. But to each their own.

I don't know why you chose the outlandish name. To my knowledge there is nothing apostate about you. You're a real thinking breathing person, who just happens to not agree with LDS brainwashing or flat out lies.

As for my being RLDS yes you're right! We do think we're right, just as every other brothers church out there. The difference is, where one church has claims, we have proof. Where one church degrades, we can affirm unconditionally, showing the world Joseph Smith did not commit adultery, polygamy, or write the Book of Mormon from his imagination.

The problem with Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon is not weather he and the Book of Mormon were of God. The problem is todays ignorance of mankind. They don't know their history. America's historical Big Bang started with Christopher Columbus, and for most of us, ended with what happened to us this evening at supper!

Americans don't know their history, where we came from or who we are. We are carefully taught by churches a driveling watered down barely biblical doctrine that is killing us, our heritage and our historical knowledge.

I repeat, we know nothing about our past, or the much coined word, the history of our " Forefathers "! While were are special as a people, we have no idea how special! While we are extremely able and intelligent as a combined people or individuals, we are, the most of us, ignorant blithering idiots when it come to correct biblical doctrine particularly in the areas of Biblical prophecy.

We have to long watch a T.V. which tells us how to think, listened to the Pope, the Prophet or our churches ( again telling us how to think ) as they reasure us with watered down white liquid stuff they tell us is God's milk and that we should eat dring and believe what they say is true.

But the truth never gets told by these men who tell us how to think. Why? Because they're in the business of making money from church. Money off you and I! They are in the Business of Priestcraft. Something abominable before Jesus Christ.

If anyone is going to tell the truth to the the world, you included, we will have to face up that we are being lied to.

But if we are aware there is a lie, it can only be because there is great truth present. Satan does not bother to decieve people, unless God is working over time to free people.

The challenge for us people, is to understand what is happening before it's too late. To save ourselves, we must first understand history. History biblical and world history. And if you have decent over view of (real) church history it will clear many questions in most peoples minds about Joseph Smith and Why God saw fit to give us, America the Book of Mormon.

First let's get the Polygamy B.S. out of the way.

While you're wrong about Joseph Smith being a polygamist, you're absolutly correct about the Salt Lake Mormon church hierarchy.

That said, I do believe there are many good God fearing Mormon LDS members out there and we should not be taking to them to the whipping shed. The Book of Mormon is irrifutibly true. That said the Salt Lake Mormon Church is an apostate church, designed by the Devil as prophecied Biblically to decieve people in the latter days. The LDS church is a trap to decieve the saint's as spoken of in Revelations.

Note: Revelations speaks of Saints in Israel? Yet todays accepted notion of geographical Middle Eastern Israel does not answer the discription.

Jurusalem has been restored and the Jews have returned to their homeland. But there are very few Christains, ( saints living among the Jews) In Geographical Israel.
And the very few who do live in Israel are considering leaving because they are beginning to face persecution from Orthodox Believers.

Yet only the Jews have returned to Israel. Where is the rest of Israel? Do you know?

You realize there are still 10 other tribes, who are supposedley lost. ( again that is another thoelogin lie )
We are not lost except to ourselves and our history.

Revelation end times prophecy deals with Israel. Yet most people know nothing of Israel in End Times Prophecy. Most people think of Israel as a geographical land mass. The Middle East! They would be incorrect! The nation of Israel has always been a people. Israel was in captivity in Egypt. God led Israel to the Desert where the " nation of Israel wandered 40 years in the wilderness. Israel was later allowed to go to the Land of Cannan, and latter Israel was scattered among the nations. This happened during the time God gave judgement and destroyed the Kingdom of Israel via civil war at the time of Jereboam and Reoboam in our Bibles.

10 tribes led by Ephraim moved northwards, set up their capital in Samaria, and the Ruling tribe of Judah leading the tribes of Levi and Benjamin stayed In Jurusalem, although remnants of Levi and Benjamin also were with the northern 10 tribes also.

I'm saying Israel is a people. Most theologins today claim the tribes of Israel are lost. That is a flat lie unless the person perpetuating that information is as ignorant as I once was myself.

Anyone who's seen the Eagle clutching the arrows and olive branch on the back of our one dollar bill has seen the seal of the tribe of Mannasah. Any who's seen the English Union Jack of the British Navy has seen a symble of the House of Israel kept through history by the tribe if Ephraim.

And should we marvel? The people we now call English have possessed Biblical records from their countries very begginings. Anyone who treasures the Bible, chances are they're are a decendant of Israel.

Anyone who's read his or her Holy Bibles old Testament In prophecy know's Jacob blessed to brothers, the sons of Joseph of Egypt, Ephraim and Mannasah.

Jacob, ( also call Israel) prophecied Ephraim would be come a great company of nations. And Mannasah would would become one great nation.

The Sun never set upon the British Empire. The British Empire was the greatest ruling Empire the world has ever seen in our known History.

America became the greatest single Nation to aquire world ( super power ) power and dominance.

There never has and never will be two national/International powers again like these two countries.

The British Empire is Ephraim in the Bible. America is Mannasa in your Bible.

How does this all tie into Joseph Smith?

Your Bible Prophecies not only the splitting up of the nation of Israel from one to two nations. It also tells us ( out of the mouths of two or three whitnesses every word shall be established).

God Promised us He would restore Israel to a knowledge of His covenant. What does this mean?

First it means the House of Israel no longer has covenant knowledge. They are Ignorant. The bibe Speaks of Israel's ignorance. Israel shall be called by another name. They shall loose their language, they shall forget their feasts, and their new moons and their solemn feasts.

This cannot be the Jewish State of Israel as we know it to be today. For a Jew to forget their solemn feasts, New moons and loose their language the world would have already been destroyed. Meaning Jews ain't going to forget. But then Jews are not considered Israel in our bible either! They are called Judah, or Jurusalem, or the Jews.

Ezekiel chapter 37, God tells us of two nations with two different records of Jesus Christ comming together. One record decending from Judah, our bible. The other Record decending from Joseph of Egypt. ( Book of Mormon ).

Mathew 21 Christ told the Pharasee's " The kingdom shall be givin to another nation bearing ther fruits thereof"!

And multiple prophecy tells us who this nation is. A nation of unwalled villages, where the people live at rest and without care, they live in freedom, there are no wall and there are no gates. A land that dwells alone.

Back tracking back to Ezekiel 37, Ezekiel describes the record of Joseph. The Book of Mormon claims to be a record decending from Joseph of Egypt.

Isaiah 29, 10-24 tells us more about this record, the kind of man who will bring this record forth ( an unlearned man ) also giving us the date and time people should expect and would begin to read this particular record. Prophecy description is so explicit and unmistakeable, it can only be the Book of Mormon

Ironically the record comes in the form ( "as a book that is sealed" ). Did not Jospeh Smith claim to have translated the plates from the Book of Mormon? Yes he did!

But supposing Jospeh Smith Just knew alot of scripture and forged a long winded document?

Well if that were to be so, then why did "Lebanon turn green and as fruitful field and be esteemed as a forest"? Yes our bible says this.

A case could be made Joseph Smith was a fraud. But does a fraud have power to make Biblical prophecy come true? Only God has power to make Lebanon turn green. Not Joseph Smith!

After nearly 2000 years of no rain, about 1855, the rains returned to Lebanon. 20 years prior, Joseph Smith prophecied Lebanon would turn green. He did not live to see it happen. But believe me, it happened!

The United States Congress in Congressional investigation, ( Reed Smoot Hearings ) 1906 Congressional Record, also has has declared Joseph Smith innocent of Polygamous practices, further more all investigational parties have declared the Salt Lake LDS church an usurper church, and they further declare the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to be true and Legal heir and successor to the Origanal LDS Church of which Joseph Smith started.

Futher they declare the RLDS church has kept to the orignal teachings of Joseph Smith and origanal LDS church. ( not the Salt Lake Church )

LDS, FLDS, and others LDS are on CBS, ABC, NBC and FOX News all the time! How come you never hear about the RLDS church and our polygamous Activities?

Because we never had none to begin with. As matter of fact our church wasn't founded upon the murder of it's own prophet.

What I've just implied I cannot conclusivly prove, but I've very strong circumstantial evidense Brigham Young was somehow behind the murder of Joseph Smith. I'm not the only church member who posses this evidense either. Most of our Priesthood and regular church members who care to know also know.

But we were on the more joyous less sinful topics of polygamy and the degredation of a womons right to minister as a wife to just one husband alone.

I don't mishmash around with people. You want to degrade Joseph Smith fine! As of today you've been served notice Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God. And he gave his Life for a church, a people, a book and an Idea which is more than I doubt you folks have ever done.

As of today you're put on notice. As of today you're under judgement for every word you carelessly speak against God's prophet or prophets. You will be held accountable at the day of Judgement for those words.

I'm not going to argue with people who don't search scripture, history and culture as to weather Joseph Smith was a true prophet or not. Firstly I cannot accurately determine a man or woman heart.
Secondly, I believer on picture, or one verse of Biblical Scripture coupled with Bible verses are far more powerful than anything I could ever say to convince ya'll

Sorry for not responding right away. I've been detained of late trying to make a living.

First RLDS and LDS are not the same churches. There is a whole separate history. If you call a good RLDS member a mormon, you've more than likely said fighting words. What the Mormon Church has done to us RLDS as a people has heaped persecution and difficulty upon us that we never started, never committed and would never ever, have a hand in.

I am no more Mormon than a Protestant can be Catholic...... I hate not so much the Mormon people, but the LDS church as an organization because of how they have gone and tampered with the truth.

For Instance, the LDS Book of Mormon has about 30 more chapters in the book of Alma than my book of Mormon which is printed from the left over 25+ percent of the LDS held orignal manuscrip, and the 85+ percent of RLDS held Origanal Printers Manuscript.

That is a fact with can be research and proven. It is also a proven fact the many young LDS Elders don't even know the RLDS church ever existed or still exists. You can prove this as I have, by walking into any LDS branch. They have never seen RLDS scriptures nor do many know there was a huge split in the church.

This lack of information about what happened I find disturbing seeing as how in the RLDS church we let everything hangout. Which is not always a good thing, seeing as how we can be the combative types at times.....

Many of them ( LDS ) don't study their church history, nor and I can prove this statement, do they study their bible or book of mormon. If they had, truly believing that the Bible and Book of Mormon are inpired of God, then they would not have committed the whoredoms and perpetuated the very appostate teachings the Bible and Book of Mormon teach against.

In short the Book of Mormon was used by the LDS church to build a church. And the Bible was used to excuse polygamy and bigotry.

I told you the LDS has tampered with the truth. That is evident.

It has been taken for granted the LDS church was the origanal church Joe Smith started. That is not so.

I would remind you at the time the LDS salt lake church went to Utah, there were still a minimum of 140 thousand people who didn't follow Briggham Young and his ten thousand followers to the salt land of which Jeremiah chapter 17:5-8 KJV Speaks.

It should be noted there may have been as many as 200,000 saints at the time of the split of the LDS church after Mr. Smith's murder.

It should also be noted there is enough circumstancial evidence pointing to Briggham Young being one of main conspirators behind the murder of Joseph Smith.

It should also be noted Briggham Young in relatively short time after the murder of Smith, headed west, into a land which recorded history tells us had little law enforcement.

It should also be noted that Mr. Young was under investigation for the murder of Joseph Smith.

Other points of possible interest is the RLDS church was given in a court of law, the copywrites of all books written and translated by Joseph Smith.

We do not have the Book of Abraham. Until a year and a half ago I hadn't even heard of it! And only then because I have a good baptist friend trying to save my poor misguided soul from eternal missery.

Nor do we tought the Pearl of Great Price as scripture.

We believe in the Bible, the Book of Mormon, and the Doctrine and Covenants. That's it............

You have asked me about the Book of Abraham. I do think it's possible that Joseph Smith may have had something to do with it. But I also know Joseph Smith never finnished it's translation.
Something about he having been commanded by God to drop it!

As for Joseph Smith pleading guilty when did you say this happened? You see I have hundreds of resources backed by civil and court documents, including the sworn statements of Joseph Smith's family and extended family that he never was invovled or participated in any of those things he was accused of.

It's a proven fact the day He married Emma Smith, a story was circulated that he married 7 women on that day. Yet Emma Smith according to her own writtings and the research done by her biogropher, make no such claims.

It should be noted that Joseph Smith in courts of law, faught and won against men who said he preached a doctrine of plurality of wives. Not only ousting them form the church, but but personally suing them for slander and liable, while publically humiliating them.....

A counter point I'd like to make is in 1885 the protestant churches Removed 160,000 plus words from our bibles old testament. Now I'm not here to throw stones, but I am pointing out, the protestant churches preach a doctrine of God has given us as much scripture as we're ganna get! That we should not mess with the bible or accept anything but the bible in it's entirety. Yet only a few years after the Book of Mormon is added to one church to be used with our bible as Ezekiel 37 says it will be, by God himself, the protestant churches subtract 160,000 words or in other words take out half our old testament...... Kinda contradictory huh?

So while Joseph Smith catches lot's of flack, Some of it is legit, and I can show you where he messed up, I can also show where he was right, that he was a prophet.

A last counter point in favor for Joseph Smith.

If Joseph Smith was the man who started the Salt Lake LDS church, why does the LDS church claim his wife left the church?

I am happy to say that Emma Smith never left the origanal LDS church. The origanal LDS Church Joseph Smith started is not in Salt Lake City. It's in Independance MO. It is located by a river like Jeremiah wrote it would be.

Again this could be a coincidence, but if it is, then it's a very odd one.

A last footnote.

Emma was a member of the RLDS church till the day she died. In all the things Emma Smith could have done after the murder of her husband, she could have left the whole mess. But she did not. Does not her actions state something about what she believe her husband truly believed?

An RLDS visitor. I would hardly call it "conjuring" up evidences. If there are court records that prove that Joseph Smith pled guilty to fraud, then it is a fact, not some conjured up lie.

No matter what brand of LDS you are, they really are no different, beit LDS, RLDS, FLDS. They all think they have the truth and all the others are wrong.

Go ahead and show me your evidence. I'll be willing to take a look and give it an honest evaluation. However, it better be damn good evidence because there is a hell of a lot against the LDS.

Now let me ask you, James, do you believe that the Book of Abraham was produced as Joseph Smith claimed it was? If so, how do you level with the fact that the scrolls he had were found and it proves that he lied about how it was produced? Knowing that, how can you trust any of his other productions?

It's a lie and a fraud. The original 1830 Book of Mormon even names Joseph Smith as the author.

I agree the LDS church is an Apostate church. But then read Jeremiah 17,verse 5-8. Salt Lake city answers one discription. There is another church in Missiouri who litteraly is based by a River, even on river street!

While this could be only coincidense, they are strange ones and strangely accurate.

I am part Iriquois Indian. I'm part French, Scot, and English as are many people in this county! I can easily say at any time that a certain people no longer live in this land because my people killed them off! My people killed off the Nephites. End of story!
