Why "god" Does Not Deserve My Praise

I'm going to share a little piece of information with you that you already know. This is powerful stuff and it's been right there in plain sight the whole time but you've never really thought about it. It's simple, yet amazingly powerful at convincing people that the god they adore is absolutely not worthy of the title "good".

It's so simple...

The Bible instructs us to not kill. Killing is a sin.

God kills thousands of people and at one point, he even drowns everyone on planet earth.

So if killing is a sin, then god is a sinner.

The god that you adore and worship is a murderer!

He breaks his own commandments.

This is not a god who is worthy of any type of praise or adoration.

This god is a jackass and a hypocrite.

I would rather go to hell than worship him!

The truth is out there, people, and it's staring you in the face!

And who are you to question what God does or does not do? Where you there when He created the world? God cannot condone sin and that is why He came to earth in the person of Jesus Christ. I'm praying that you will meditate and study the Word of God and let the Spirt of Truth convite you who wrong you are in your ideas and thinking. God bless, Lloyd

Who am I? I am a human being with the "god" given ability to question. Would you vote for a political candidate who is a known murderer? No? Then why vote for god?

No, I wasn't there and neither were you. So how do you know he created it if you weren't even there?

Sin is a man-made concept to keep people under control.

Why don't you read and study Peter Pan until you are convinced that it is true as well? You call the Bible the "Word of God" but I call it nonsensical fiction that was written by a bunch of clueless wierdos.

If you want to trust an ancient book that has questionable origins, wierd stories, contradicts itself, and who's author is a confessed murderer, then be my guest. Personally, I prefer to believe in reality.

What you believe doesn't make a bit of difference to me. If you want to believe in fairytales, it's your life.

You need help! For you to say God is a murderer is blasphemous we as humans are his children and if he see's his children doing evil that will hinder his purpose don't you think he has the right to lead us astray so that his purpose will be performed? Even in eccle it say's there's a time to kill! Since the day of Adam Death is a part of life and anyone that believes different is living in a fairy tale!

So anyone who DOESN'T believe is living in a fairy tale? Wow! You are deluded.

I like how I'm deluded for saying you're in a fairy tale because you don't believe but Lloyds is in a fairy tale also by your explanation because of his beliefs! Every ones delusional except you.

According to dictionary.com:

Delusional: a fixed false belief that is resistant to reason or confrontation with actual fact.

I have tried to reason with believers by showing them that the Bible has wierd stories, contradicts itself, and is authored by a murderer. Believers, such as yourselves, are resistant to that reason. You are fixed in your beliefs and no amount of reason will change your minds.

I rest my case.

You might try to claim that my beliefs are false and that I am resistant to your arguments. However, I have no beliefs in the supernatural, so your argument would be invalid.

Besides, your arguments are only based on themselves. The Bible says this, so it must be true. Well, it says in a Marvel comic book that Superman can fly so that must be true as well.

What I am trying to explain to you guys is that your arguments of "the Bible says this" is never going to convince me to believe, because there are plenty of other fictional books that say lots of stuff, but you immediately accept it as fiction. The Bible is no different but for some reason, you are deluded into believing that it is literally real.

The Bible is true because it says it is? The Book of Mormon also claims to be true. Why don't you believe it? It says nearly the same thing as the Bible.

I will use your own argument to support the Book of Mormon and I bet that you will immediately reject it:

The Book of Mormon is the word of god. It says it is true. It says that you should follow and love god. Why do you reject the Book of Mormon? It's no different than the Bible. It says so, so it must be so.

But your rational mind will reject it because it is made up. Well, why don't you use that same logic on your precious Bible? You can't because you're deluded.

I don't understand why people are so consumed with "praising" and "adoring" god. I mean does he really need our praise? Does he just sit there and feed of it?
I don't believe in god, but if I did, I wouldn't believe in one that required my praise. If thats the condition of his love and the price for my existance then fuck it. Take my life back and send my soul to darkness.
I think Mormon411 was justified in his statement. I mean what has god done recently? Nothing! Exactly! Keep praying for that moment cause it ain't coming. People still die in endless numbers. People kill in his name, etc. Its all bullshit.

Very well said, doesitmatter. If god would bother to actually show himself, then I would be the first on my knees. But until then, all bets are off. I'm not going to take "gods will" from some asshole in a suit who wants all my money.
