To Michael and Family During This Hard Time:

I would like to dedicate this post to my friend Michael, his family, and especially to Michael's nephew.

Nephew's birth father was given temporary custody and I found out just yesterday that this is a very violent man. It is with a great deal of sadness and emotion that I report this father beat nephew (his own son) until he was in acoma. He was life-lifted to Primary Children's Medical Center, where he has been declared officially brain dead. Today, after family says their good-byes, he will be taken off life support.

My sincere condolences go out to the entire family. Nothing like this should ever happen to a child. But there is a glimmer of good news in all of this. Nephew's mother has decided to donate his organs to other needy children. This was a sweet and innocent little boy who was just curious about the world.

I hope the fraction of a man who murdered his own son sits in jail for the rest of his life. What kind of a monster would beat their own six year old son to death? It's moments like this that make me wish there was a hell, so that this loser will suffer there forever.

Pocatello child on life support, father arrested: This is currently the top story at the Idaho State Journal.

To Michael and family: I feel your pain and have shed my tears for this sweet boy. I'll be there for you in any way I can.

This is very sad!

The mother must be pretty special to donate organs from her son to other needy children. Amazing!!

I wish the family well.

It is very sad to hear of this happening. As a now single mother I was afraid of this own thing happening to my daughter (why I left her father). It is scary to think of or see. I can understand to a degree of how much pain resides inside for the family.

My condolences.

I have just found out that with the organ donation, there are about 15 children who have been found who will benefit from his donated organs. At least this tragedy will have a positive outcome for other children and their families.

Don't be so quick to judge others. You're a mortal sinner, too, just as I. Doesn't matter whetha you're an atheist, dude, you'll still be Divinely Judged when you croak and go Upstairs to find-out whetha you deserve either realm for eternity. So, I would seriously think about where YOU wish to be because not having the Almighty in thy lifetime in these few, 85ish years VS. the length and breadth of FO'EVA, makes ya ponder, y'think?? God blessa youse -Fr. Sarducci, ol SNL

And not everyone makes Heaven.

I don't usually judge. However, this man beat an innocent six year old child to death. Would you want this man babysitting your children?

Well, you have your opinions about judgment day. I could just as easily tell you that it doesn't matter what you believe. In the end, there will be no judgment, heaven, hell, or god. Believing something does not make it true.

If god has a purpose for me, I will fulfill it as soon as he tells me himself.

What an AWFUL story.Just goes to show that most of these so-called CHILD WELFARE agencies dont know their ARSE from their ELBOWS and often award custody to the most unsuitable person...Who just happens to look good on paper. In reality,it is often those who dont look great on paper, but have the most genuine love for the child, that would be the best option...another TRAGIC child welfare COCK UP....
