Adorning Your Churches

I bet the Mormons just hate it when a passage from the Book of Mormon is used to show what hypocrites they are!

Did Jesus even have an actual 'church'? If he did, I don't think he would ever deny anyone access to it.

I love seeing all of the starving kids being shipped to the temples to eat, and the poor clothed inside its dressing rooms, and those who need money all line up outside the doors for help.

Oh wait

Never mind.

Clever - post a picture with a caption

Reality - temples are built and maintained with tithing
Reality - the welfare program is run through donations and used locally and through humanitarian efforts all across the world which you don't hear about because the church doesn't boast it, but it is actually the forefront of most humanitarian efforts and aides across the world often times being the first to respond and being the last to leave done so through sacrificing volunteers who put in the effort while the rest of you gripe about how we adorn our churches - please.

Penniemoney, no Jesus did not have an actual church. In fact, in one of the books that was removed from the cannon by the Council of Nicea, Jesus strictly forbids the building of meeting houses!

Heather, what temple did you go to? Wink, wink

Tyson, all I have to say to you is that the lord can rest easy knowing that you will always be there to be his official excuse maker.
