Religious Thoughts and Their Appropriate Endings

Tonight I went browsing through the stuff at Ross and came upon several wall hangings with different faith promoting sayings. Being the analyst that I am, I decided to share the quotes and then add the appropriate endings.

"He fills my life with good things." ...but ignores starving children in Africa.

"God bless this house and all who enter." ...but everyone else can go to hell.

"Miracles happen to those who believe in them." ...unless you're an amputee.

"Faith is the essence of all things." ...so hold your breath and let faith become oxygen.

HI there. came across your blog as I was looking at the various blogs on blogger.

I'm very sorry for your experience with Mormonism.... religion can be like that. If there's arguments but no experience it can leave you frustrated.

Hope you have good holidays!

Brenda

The sooner the world realizes that gods are just concepts, the better off we all will be.

We are driven to action by our beliefs. When we go through and sort the beliefs of other from our own reality, we just grow in ways we do not expect.

Life is a journey. Enjoy both.

Don't worry Lloyd. Even though you're totally wrong, the real god, The Flying Spaghetti Monster, loves you. May you someday come to learn of your false beliefs. The FSM will never give up on you. May he bless you and guide you to the real truth. FSM Bless!

Hi,
I watched a TV program in England about people leaving the Mormon's and how difficult it must have been for you. I really like your blog, its very enlightening. As an atheist myself and never believing in religion your story fascinates me. Many thanks, you've gained a follower! (so to speak!)

Peace \m/
