Who Reads Mormon411?

Lately, there has been a lot of positive reaction to Mormon411. I'm excited that so many people are finding the blog.

Some are Christians who are very surprised that anyone would dare to question their god. Out of the goodness of their hearts, many of them offer to pray for me. I appreciate your concern, but assure you that it is not necessary.

Some of the people who visit this blog are people questioning and leaving the church. Those who contact me are very grateful for this blog and some have even told me that my words were the deciding factor in their decision to leave the church.

Some of the visitors here are TBMs (True Believing Mormons). Some of them are very condescending and judgemental. Others are very respectful.

The majority of my visitors and commenters are former LDS members. And most them are atheist or agnostic.

And finally, there are those who visit who have never been religious and are fascinated by what religion does to people.

I've had a blast responding to all of you and I hope that Mormon411 has many more successful years! Keep the comments going!

Found your blog yesterday. I like your topics and insight. I guess I'm still a member of the LDS church. Getting my name removed is more of a hastle. I don't care enought to put forth the effort to have it removed.
I have completely given up religion and I would consider myself agnostic. If God exist, I'll find out when I die. If my praise during this life is required to satisfy God, then I don't want any part and damn me to hell.
I'll continue to follow and put forth some feedback when I can. Thanks for the great blog. Keep it up!

I was blog creeping a few days ago, just hitting the 'next blog' button, eagerly awaiting an interesting blog to pop up, but all I got were family blogs about picnics and cooking blogs on how to make the perfect fillet mignin, but then (lucky me) your awesome blog popped up. Boy am I glad about that.
Only once in my short life have I ever met someone like me, someone that refuses to accept what is the norm and actually THINK about the whole 'God Concept.' He was the guy to tell you up straight what he was, and that he didn't want your invitations to church on Sunday - he would rather sleep than spend a good chunk of his morning singing and praying at the walls and pretty windows. I had been harboring my position on the matter for quite some time, and when I first uttered the words, 'I am an Atheist'' to my family, I was received with gaping mouths and a chorus of 'whats?!' My brother took it the hardest, utilizing every opportunity he could to make jibes at my belief, or rather lack of belief. When the matter comes up, he gets really cold with me, and at first, I use to say that I was sorry I did not agree with him, but now I just say 'You have your opinion, and I have mine, buzz off.' He cannot accept that I don't want to be Catholic, that I am NOT Catholic. I guess that through all of my rambling, what I am trying to say is thank you. I feel elation as I read your blog posts and the compliation of quotes on the side. I am not an atheist among few, but rather among many. Thanks to you, I know that there must be a sea of us out there.
Thank you.

I've been following your blog for a good while. I can't even remember how I found it.

When I originally found it, I was confused. I had been to the Temple and was turned off by the religion. Long story.

At this point, I'm not any religion. Not sure if I believe in religion itself. Not sure if I believe in God. Just undecided.

I like to read your blog and I read it every time you update!
