Getting Purpose from God

I found this atheist girl on YouTube. Not only is she cute and bubbly, but has a great answer for those who ask atheists, "So if you don't believe in god, then your life has no meaning, no purpose?"

I think she coins a new word: Awesomely

If you like this girl, you can see more of her, including a four foot tall painting of her nipple: http://www.youtube.com/user/CompletelyLovely

I laughed so hard when she began bowing and saying "celestial overlord". That was brilliant.

She is good. She makes me laugh. And the "Jesus Loves Me?" song was awesome! This chick is cool.

Dear Heather,

I honestly thank you for this blog. I've been reading some of your thoughts and experiences and they have helped me to open my mind (more than I have already) because I am an inactive member since August 2010. I only was a member for about 2 years and a half, and my family isn't mormon, so it wasn't that difficult to go out in terms of the family, but anyways it was hard for me to find out that everything that I believed and all the times I spent the time fighting for my beliefs (literally) wasn't true. Now I guess it was only an experience in my life, and I'm no longer christian, because I'm better off this way. I believe in love and the most important IN MYSELF.

Kisses and hugs from CHILE,

Sebastian

Hey, I just found your blog and it's pretty cool. I do an atheist/comedy/parenting blog and I'm always interested to hear other people's stories.

@S.A.L.

Thank you for your kind words. I am so glad you are finding out for yourself what works for you, and it isn't through the Mormon church. Its very hard to admit we were wrong when we (and I mean my husband and I) fought with inactive extended family. You really eat your words and actions and its hard to swallow. But we move on had hopefully learn something in return.
